Who actually places my implant?+
Dr. Rojas, a board-certified periodontist, places the implant. Her assistants are trained in surgery support and pain management and help keep you comfortable.
Can my own dentist make the crown?+
Usually, yes. Dr. Rojas collaborates with referring dentists, shares the plan, and often helps select the parts for the final restoration.
Which implant brand do you use?+
We place Straumann® implants. Ask us for the exact system and model so you have it for your records and for any dentist who treats you later.
How long do dental implants last?+
Cleveland Clinic says implants can often last a lifetime with good brushing, flossing and regular visits, while the crown or bridge on top may eventually need replacing.
What happens if an implant doesn’t fuse to the bone?+
Mayo Clinic says most implants are successful. If one does not fuse, it is removed, the area heals, and another attempt can be made in about three months.
Is a periodontist more expensive than a general dentist?+
Fees depend on the case, not the title. You receive a written estimate before treatment, and we file insurance claims, offer financing and have an in-house dental plan.
