TeethXpress® is our Teeth in a Day® approach: a full arch of fixed teeth secured on dental implants. Four to eight dental implants are placed on each arch, based on a full jawbone diagnostic analysis, so the exact shape and size of each implant matches the bone you have. Like natural teeth, the implants stimulate your jawbone when you chew, which helps prevent bone loss — and there’s no false palate for upper teeth and no slipping denture.

A full oral exam and x-rays, plus 3D images of your jawbone, show your bone volume and the nerves and sinuses to avoid.
Implant-planning software sets the number, size and position of each implant. A custom guide that fits over your arch marks exactly where each one goes. You’ll know whether bone grafting is needed before surgery day.
Any remaining teeth are removed and the implants are placed in one visit, under local anesthesia with IV, oral or nitrous sedation if you choose.
When the implants are stable enough, you go home with a temporary set of teeth attached to them while the bone fuses.
After healing — usually a few months — your final full-arch teeth are made and attached, and you return for regular cleanings and check-ups.

A full arch is a big decision, and not everyone who asks about it needs it. I look at every tooth and measure the bone first. If teeth can be saved, I’ll tell you. If they can’t, we plan the new arch together on the 3D scan, so you see exactly where each implant goes.
Surgery day is a long appointment, and you don’t have to go through it tense. That’s one reason I trained in IV sedation — so this can be a calm day, not a scary one.

Implants act like tooth roots. The American Academy of Periodontology notes that implants fuse with the jawbone and help keep it healthy, while a conventional denture doesn’t stimulate the bone — which can lead to bone loss and a sunken look over time. In years gone by, patients without enough jawbone weren’t eligible for implant-supported teeth. Today’s specially designed implants accommodate almost every level of bone mass and come in a range of shapes and sizes, eliminating all or most bone grafting procedures — which makes treatment more affordable, efficient and quicker. Whether you need a graft is decided case by case, and we’ll tell you at the planning stage. TeethXpress® questions
Will I leave with teeth on the same day?+
In many cases, yes. Extractions and implant placement happen in one visit, and a temporary set of teeth is attached once the implants are stable enough. Your 3D scan and the way the implants feel during surgery decide this, so we confirm it with you as part of planning.
Are TeethXpress® teeth removable?+
No. The full arch is fixed to the implants and is removed only by the dental team for maintenance. If you prefer a denture you can take out, a snap-in or bar-retained implant denture is another option.
Is TeethXpress® the same as All-on-4®?+
They are similar ideas: a full arch of teeth on implants. With TeethXpress®, four to eight implants are placed per arch, depending on the results of your full jawbone analysis.
What if I’ve been told I don’t have enough bone?+
Get a 3D evaluation before ruling it out. Implant size, shape and position can often be planned around the bone you have, and bone grafting can rebuild areas where it’s missing.
How do I clean fixed full-arch teeth?+
Brush them at least twice a day with a soft toothbrush and nonabrasive toothpaste, clean around the implants, and keep your regular cleanings and implant check-ups.
Does insurance cover full-arch implants?+
It depends on your plan. We accept most traditional insurance plans, verify your benefits and file claims for you. CareCredit for those who qualify, third-party financing and our in-house dental plan are also available.
