An implant is not a one-day job for most people. Mayo Clinic describes it as a staged process with healing between steps and says the whole process can take many months from start to finish. How many visits will an implant take?+
Most single implants involve a consultation, the surgery, at least one healing check and a final restoration step. Grafting or an extraction can add a visit. We map the exact number for you at the first appointment.
How long from start to finish?+
Usually several months, mostly healing time. Bone fusing to the implant alone can take about three to nine months, and grafting adds time when it’s needed.
Can my dentist in Miami make the final crown?+
Often, yes. Dr. Rojas collaborates with your dentist and can help select the parts for the restoration, so you may only travel to us for the surgical steps.
Will you file my insurance if you’re out of network?+
Yes. We verify your coverage and file the claim for you, whether we are in or out of network. Call (954) 963-4700 and we’ll check your plan before you book.
Can I have the extraction and implant on the same day?+
Sometimes. It depends on the health of the bone once the tooth is out. Your 3D scan helps Dr. Rojas decide in advance, so you know what to expect.
What are your hours?+
Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm. We are closed on weekends.
